We collect as little as we can, we tell you what we have, and we give it back or delete it whenever you ask.

What we collect
Only what you give us and what a website needs to run. Contact and enquiry data — your name, email address and whatever you write in a message or booking note. Booking data — the date and time slot you select, and the timezone your browser reports. Technical data — IP address, browser and device type, and pages visited, recorded in standard server logs. Preferences — your theme choice and similar settings, stored in your own browser, never sent to us.
Why we use it
To answer enquiries and prepare proposals; to schedule and confirm calls; to keep the site secure and diagnose faults; and to meet our accounting and legal obligations. Our lawful bases are your consent, the steps needed to enter into a contract with you, our legitimate interest in running the studio, and legal obligation.
What we do not do
We do not sell your data. We do not share it with advertisers. We do not build profiles of you, and we do not use your enquiry to add you to a mailing list unless you ask us to.
Cookies and storage
The site sets no advertising or tracking cookies. It stores a small amount of data in your browser’s local storage — your theme preference and, in the booking flow, your draft selection — so the site behaves consistently between visits. This never leaves your device and you can clear it at any time from your browser settings. If we add analytics later, this page will say so and you will be asked first.
Who else sees it
A small number of service providers process data on our behalf: our email and calendar provider, our hosting and CDN provider, and our accounting software. Each is bound by contract to process data only on our instructions. Some are located outside the UAE and the EEA; where that is the case, transfers are covered by standard contractual clauses or an equivalent safeguard.
How long we keep it
Enquiries and booking records: two years from our last exchange, unless they become part of a client file. Client project records: ten years, to satisfy contractual and accounting requirements. Server logs: ninety days.
Your rights
You can ask us for a copy of your data, to correct it, to delete it, to restrict or object to how we use it, and to receive it in a portable format. Where we rely on consent, you can withdraw it at any time. Write to Hello@Kinomadstudio.com and we will respond within thirty days. If you are in the EEA or UK and are not satisfied with our answer, you may complain to your local data protection authority.
Security
Data is transmitted over TLS and held on access-controlled systems. Only the people who need your data to do their work can reach it. No system is perfect — if a breach ever affects your data, we will tell you and the relevant regulator without undue delay.
Changes
If this notice changes materially we will update the date below and, where the change affects you directly, tell you by email.
